Shotcut is a free, open source, video editor for Windows, Mac and Linux. Leiden University has approved this tool but has no license agreement regarding technical support, updates and other services. Therefore, you cannot contact the ISSC helpdesk for support.

How can I install Shotcut?
Follow these steps to install Shotcut from the software centre.
Please note: in case you have an unmanaged computer you can install the software via shotcut.org.
1. If working from outside the university, use eduVPN to access the university network
2. Go to software centre and look for Shotcut in the applications tab.
3. Install Shotcut based on your operating system.
